On Tuesday, September 21, the Breathitt County held their monthly meeting at the Life Skills Center.
WYMT Stacy McCloud, was their guest speaker. McCloud told the group a little about her past and how she got to where she is today. She told about what she does and the impact that she hopes to make on others lives. McCloud was a wonderful guest speaker, and the Breathitt County Younger Women’s Club is very appreciative.
The club also discussed issues on the agenda, prepared by President, Patty Wilder. Some of the issues discussed were a survivor’s brunch (which is still being planned), Breathitt Kids, Dinner for our Troops, etc. Again, these are just a few things that were discussed at the meeting. Vice President, Renee Snowden, also gave an update on the Breathitt Juniorette Club.
October 19th will be the next meeting which will take place at the Breathitt County Extension Office at 6:30 pm. This will be open to the public as they are having Guest Speaker, Angie Reynolds speak on Breast Cancer Awareness and other important issues.
