Relay For Life 2004
Jackson, Ky. 6-25-04 This years Relay For Life was a near wash out as heavy rain pounded Jackson for the better part of the entire day Friday. Several tents still managed to be put up and hundreds weathered the rain and came out for this great event. The entertainment was great and also featured an appearance by the "Soggy Bottom Boys". The weather did cause a few no shows, but the tents put up for them, came into good use, by others seeking a well needed shelter. Although it appeared overall participation numbers were down, it was still a great event and for a truly worthy cause. |
