Personnel from the Kentucky Department of Highways, Estill County Maintenance, will replace a drainage pipe on KY 52 on Tuesday, Nov. 17. The work will take place between milepoints 18 and 19, or between the intersections of KY 1182 (Cobhill Road) and KY 1571 (Millers Creek Road). The project will begin around 8 a.m. and will continue until approximately 4 p.m. During this time, the road will be closed to through traffic.
No marked detour will be posted, but motorists can use KY 52 across the Tipton Ridge mountain, between Ravenna and the KY 1182 intersection, as an alternate route. Motorists should plan their trips accordingly.
In case of inclement weather, the closure will be postponed until a later date.
