From Lexington, Kentucky
Take I-75 south to I - 64 East
Follow until you get to Winchester, Kentucky and see a sign for Mountain Parkway. Exit turns directly into Mountain Parkway. Follow for 43 miles to Exit 43, Campton, Hazard exit. Stay in right lane as Parkway splits. Exit 43 becomes HWY 15. Follow for 20 miles. You will enter the City of Jackson. You will come to a junction with HWY 30. Immediately on your right will be a McDonalds. Turn at your first right at McDonalds. Douthitt Park is just over the hill. There will be various parking areas with shuttle buses throughout Jackson.
From Knoxville, Tennessee
Follow I-75 North to London, Kentucky. Look for the Daniel Boone/Hal Rogers Parkway exit. Follow Parkway signs to Hazard Kentucky. You will go through Manchester Kentucky on Parkway. Take HWY 15 Jackson, Kentucky exit in Hazard Kentucky. Right after Shell Mart on your right. Follow Highway 15 approx 30 miles to Jackson, Kentucky. You will go through the traffic light at KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) immediately after KFC, on your left will be a McDonalds. Turn left into McDonalds. Douthitt Park is just over the hill. There will be various parking areas with shuttle buses throughout Jackson. |
