MOVIE REVIEW by Movie Wiz 6-22-03 Well the long awaited release of the Hulk came and went. I went to see this movie with anticipation & excitement of what I hoped would be truly a great movie for all us comic buffs. Just as with the much anticipated rebirth of Godzilla, I was let down. The special effects were awesome, but the movie as a whole was disappointing to say the least. It takes about 30 minutes before they unveil the creature and then he is only part of the movie for a few scenes. The total movement of the creature was unbelievable at best watching the Hulk jump for what seemed miles at a time. Movie creators could have done so much more with this movie, like hiring a good writer for one thing. I am giving this movie 2 1/2 out of 5, just for it's special effects. Until next time I am the Movie Wiz. --------------------------------------------------------------- (From Yahoo Movies) Action/Adventure, Drama and Science Fiction/Fantasy 2 hrs. 18 min. In this adaptation of the long-running Marvel comic "The Incredible Hulk," research scientist Dr. Bruce Banner's (Eric Bana) failed experiments cause him to mutate into a monstrously powerful and savage green-skinned behemoth whenever he loses control of his emotions. Jennifer Connelly plays his love interest Betty Ross, Nick Nolte plays Bruce's dangerous father, and Sam Elliott plays Betty's father, the tough-as-nails General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross. MPAA Rating: PG-13 for sci-fi action violence, some disturbing images and brief partial nudity.

Movie Review by the Movie Wiz 6-30-03 DUMB & DUMBERER Another sequel to a decent movie. This movie was not as bad as I was expecting. The slap stick comedy was to be expected. What wasn't expected was jokes cut nearly identical from the original. I have to admit there were scenes that kept me grinning if not laughing at times. This movie is more for younger groups with nothing to do for an afternoon. I gave this movie 2 1/2 out of 5 stars. (Yahoo Review)Comedy 1 hr. 25 min. Set in 1986 when mentally challenged best friends Harry (Richardson) and Lloyd (Olsen) were teenagers, this is the madcap comic tale of their attempt to get out of the "special needs" department and into regular high school life. MPAA Rating: PG-13 for crude and sex-related humor, and for language.
Movie Review by the Movie Wiz 7-7-03 TERMINATOR 3 Rise of the Machines: Special effects in the movie were exceptional, and this version of Terminator was action packed from beginning to end. The only draw back was the movie trailers. They lead you to believe there will be hundreds of machines in this movie when in fact there are none. The new Terminator, a female, was excellent. The story line made sense and followed along the other movies very well. The ending left little doubt that T4 would not be far behind. Get some popcorn and enjoy this one folks !! I gave this movie 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.
Legally Blonde 2 by: Renee Snowden 7-7-03 Finally a movie that takes up for animals. I don’t normally write movie reviews; however, after watching “Legally Blonde 2”, I felt that I must write my opinion. After you all stop laughing and realize that yes, I understand that this may be a chick flick, however, it is a great movie. It actually stands up for animals that are being used for testing. So inspite of the fact that Reese Witherspoon plays a somewhat ditzy character that is way too obsessed with pink, she does stand up for what she believes in. It all begins when she goes to find her dogs mother and ends up at the scene where they are doing testing on animals. She realizes what is going on and is determined not only to get her dogs mother out but all of the animals. She goes to explain how many products are being tested on animals and not many people realize that. Not only does Witherspoon takes it upon herself to go out and make sure people know about it, she works until she changes the law and frees all the innocent animals. Being an animal lover myself, I am glad that there was finally a movie that discussed the issue of animal testing. So my point being, please pay attention to the products that you are using to make sure that they are not being tested on animals. For all of you who have pets, think of them
Movie Review 7-18-03 How to Deal By: Renee Snowden Ok, I’ve gotten hooked on these movie reviews. Anyway, “How to Deal” with Mandy Moore is the movie that I’m talking about this time. Moore plays a girl that has a troubled life and has trouble believing in love. Inspite of the fact that both her father and sister are getting married, she still doesn’t believe in it. What’s the point she thinks? Her best friend falls in love with a guy who later dies and that goes to prove another point for Moore. You love you loose. Later Moore’s friend finds out that she is pregnant. Her friends boyfriend’s best friend and Moore all stand by each other. Eventually, Moore and the guy fall in love. Also, Moore’s best friend has her baby with everyone there! Overall, I guess the movie was ok. I personally think that Mandy Moore’s last movie “A Walk to Remember” was much better, inspite of the fact that it was sad. If you want to see this movie, save your money until it comes out on video.
Movie Review by Movie Wiz 7-17-03 CHARLIE's ANGELS Full Throttle - All I can say about this movie is thank goodness Demi Moore and Bernie Mac are in it. This movie was terrible at best. The three angels, Lucy Lui, Drew Barrymore & Cameron Diaz showed why people need acting lessons. The stunts and action scenes were so outlandish they went way beyond unbelievability. Outside of Bernie Mac's funny character and Demi Moore's evil character, this movie offers nothing. The story line was non existent. I rated this movie 1 1/2 out of 5 stars, out of respect for Bernie Mac & Demi Moore. Save your money and rent an old classic for the night.
Movie Review 7-16-03 Pirates of the Caribbean By: Shawn Snowden This was a half way decent movie, inspite of the fact that Johnny Depp looked like he was in drag. The story centers around the cursed treasure of Cortez. Johnny’s pirate crew mutinies and leaves him stranded on a desert island. They then go on to find the cursed treasure. Any man who takes a piece of gold from the chest is doomed to walk the earth forever until it is returned. Being a pirate crew they blow it all on loose women and rum. They then have to go search for every piece of gold to return it to the chest. Johnny just wants to get his ship back. All in all it makes for a pirate movie. **NOTE** If you have a movie review of your own, email it to us here- EMAIL
From Justin to Kelly By: Renee Snowden 7-21-03 Let me first say if you don’t like musicals, you may not like this movie. My husband didn’t mainly because it was a musical. However, I liked the movie. I am also a fan of Kelly Clarkson so that had a little something to do with it. The movie is basically takes place during the summer and there is a lot of parties, singing, dancing, etc. Justin Guarini and Kelly Clarkson met and Justin fell an immediate attraction. Not that Kelly didn’t feel the same, but Justin in my opinion went a little overboard. (I’m not a fan of his.) Anyway inspite of the obstical (her friend) that kept coming between them, they ended up together in the end. Considering this was a musical, there was a lot of singing. I personally like the movie and thought it was good. I will definitely buy it when it comes out on DVD, however, like I said I like Kelly Clarkson.
Movie Review by Movie Wiz 7-28-03 Tomb Raider: Cradle of Life This movie was good as far as sequels go. Angelina Jolie is as hot as ever, and the plot is likable. The movie is easy to follow and the supporting cast is pretty good. Get your popcorn and enjoy this one. It may not be a movie you would pay to watch twice, but the first viewing should be good enough to hold your attention I give this movie 3 1/2 out of 5 stars.
Movie Review by Movie Wiz 8-3-03 AMERICAN WEDDING : This is the 3rd and supossedly final in the American Pie Series. You really must like outlandish and sometime stomach turning physical comedy to enjoy these type movies. I personall thought this one was a bit tamer than others but was still a great movie. It was well written and good story line. The comedy was great. It is slow sometime suring the wedding plotting and love scenes, but all in all this was as good of a 3rd sequel as you will find. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. You will want to watch it more than once.
Freaky Friday By: Renee Snowden 8-12-03 To some, Freaky Friday may be more of a teenage chick flick movie. You may be right, however, I think that all mothers and daughters should watch this movie. Not only is it humorous, it explores the relationship between a mother and daughter. Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan played together very well. Curtis played the role of Lohan’s mother, who was always to busy to realize what was really going on around her. Lohan, played a teenage daughter who was very rambunctious. She was also having to deal with the fact that her mother was getting remarried. Continously being at each others throats, at a Chinese resturant they end up having a bit of help by a waitress there who gives them a fortune cookie. Curtis and Lohan end up reading the cookie at the same time, unbeknowest to the other. Later that night they switch bodies. They then have to live in the others body until they feel free. This gives them a chance to realize exactly how the other lives and feels. I think that this movie was pretty good. Then again, I’m big on the mother daughter bonding. As I said earlier, I think that all mothers and daughters should watch and enjoy this movie together.
Gigli By: Renee Snowden 8-12-03 I enjoyed watching this movie just to see how well that Jennifer Lopez and hubby Ben Affleck played together. I must say that the chemistry between the two is definitely noticeable. The movie is funny. In brief the movie is about Affleck who plays the character of a mob who is protecting the son of a federal prosecutor. Lopez later shows up to say that she is also there to do the same. At first the two cannot stand one another, but that soon changes, as they have to spend more and more time together and eventually grow to care about the guy that they are protecting. However, it’s not quiet as simple as it may seem for Affleck and Lopez to get together because she is a lesbian. Affleck becomes more and more attracted to her, but he knows that there isn’t a thing that can be done. Affleck plays some humor roles where he tries to be all macho and tells her what she is missing. Lopez in return tries to explain her viewpoint. You can tell that the two are trying so hard not to laugh. Anyway, the two do end up together. All in all, I think that the movie was fairly good. It definitly had some humorous scenes in it.
Movie Review: by Movie Wiz 8-15-03 S.W.A.T This is an excellent action packed movie that you will want to see more than once. 4 stars out of 5 for this one. Get your popcorn and enjoy.
Movie review by Movie Wiz: Freddy Vs. Jason 8-17-03 For all you horror buffs out there, you will either love it or hate it. I personally loved it and will watch it again. The story line that brings them together is good. Get some popcorn and hold on there are some good gotcha scenes. I give this flick 4 out of 5 stars.
MOVIE REVIEW: Cabin Fever By: Renee Snowden 9-17-03 This movie was rather interesting to say the least. It was not just a horror flick but an interesting kind of one. I would consider it more of a thriller. The movie is based on several friends who are taking a trip and end up staying in a cabin in the woods. Unfortuantly, for the group, one of the guys takes a walk and stumbles upon a man who claims to be hurt and needs help. The guy is frightened by this man and when he gets closer, the guy shoots him. The man falls into the water but his blood covered hand falls into the creek and therefore infects the water with the virus that he has. The guy who shot him, thinking he’s dead, goes back to the cabin and tells no one. The man later goes to the cabin and sees the guy who shot him, the guy of course denies it. Later the man gets angry and that is when the trouble begins. I don’t want to give the story away but the virus keeps getting spread through the water and such. I think this movie was rather good. I wouldn’t mind seeing it again.
Movie Review :Secondhand Lions By: Renee Snowden 10-5-03 This movie is a really good movie. It is a movie that I think the whole family would enjoy seeing together. It stars the boy from “The Sixth Sense,” Haley Joel Osment. He plays a role of a young boy whose mother drops him off at the home of his wealthy uncles, hoping that they will leave him everything when they are gone. The boy grows close with us Uncles and he does inherit the farm, however, it’s not what you would expect. I don’t want to say too much. It is a really great movie, and I will definitely be watching it again when it is released on DVD.
Movie Review: Cold Creek Manor By: Renee Snowden 10-5-03 This is a very interesting and thrilling movie staring Dennis Quaid. He moves into a home with his wife and two children and discovers that the house has a history. He is works and keeps investigating until he realizes that the owners before him once lived there and the man at that time killed his partner and children. The were abouts of them have never been discovered until now. The past owner warns the current ones to move or they will be sorry. Will they move or stay? You’ll have to watch and find out. This was a really good movie. It was filled with excitement and keeps you wondering what is going to happen next.
The School of Rock By: Renee Snowden 10-12-03 To my amazement, I loved this movie. I really wasn’t sure that I would, but it was great. Jack Black played a role of an immature guy who pretends to be a substitute teacher at the best elementary school. Once he is found out, it all plays out. I don ‘t want to give it away. You should all see this movie. It is absolutely wonderful. I may even go see it again. The movie is filled with lots of laughter.
Movie review by MOVIE WIZ 10-12-03 RUN DOWN: Stars The Rock and Sean William Scott, Stifler for American Pie Fans. I went to this movie thinking it may be a hokie Movie with corny jokes and over the top action, boy was I wrong. GREAT MOVIE. Well written and the Rock actually does a good job. Scott, also does a good job playing the 2nd banana in this movie. I say grab some popcorn and get ready to laugh !
MARC’S BOOK REVIEW 10-5-03 Stephen King’s It Stephen King’s classis novel IT is one of his most creative and visionary works. It follows the lives of seven friends who are brought together by the wheel of destiny to face an evil with no name. 28 years ago when they were mere teenagers, the lucky seven discovered evil lurking below the surface of Derry, Maine. They fought the nameless evil and their combined power wounded the monster, but they were unable to destroy IT. Now, they have been summoned from all over the world to come back to Derry and face the evil that has reawakened. Together they must remember the horrors of their childhood, stand on the strength of a promise, deal with the loss of one of their own, and finally defeat the monster that has terrorized their dreams since they were children. Stephen King has craftily weaved together two epic narratives: the story of seven children who stood up to a creature bent on killing everyone of them, and the story of six adults who came back 28 years later to battle IT one last time. This novel will make you scream, cry, and just shake you head in disbelief at how good this book really is. Enjoy
Elf By: Renee Snowden 11-17-03 I must admit that at first I wasn’t sure about this movie, however, it’s a lot better than I thought. It’s a really funny movie. Ferrell grows up believing he’s an elf but later learns the truth. He then sets out to find his real Father, who is only interested in money. This is a good Christmas movie who will help you realize what Christmas is all about. I give it three stars.
MARC’S BOOK REVIEW: Michael Connelly’s The Poet 11-19-03 Michael Connelly’s spine-ripping novel, The Poet, will leave you breathless up until the very end. It is a murder mystery that you won’t be able to put down. The plot is simple, someone is killing cops, and the killer is the one you’ll least expect. The killer uses quotes from Edgar Alan Poe to identify his crimes. He is a phantom, the Eidolon. Come along for the ride with reporter Jack McElvoy who loses his twin brother at the hands of The Poet and works with the FBI in hope that by putting a stop to the madman he can silence the ghosts inside him. This novel will leave you breathless!
Cat in the Hat Movie review by Movie Wiz 11-24-03 Alot of movies come out redoing cartoons and superheroes or even chidren's books, but none in my opinion have been as good as Cat in the Hat. Mike Meyers does a great job with the cat role. The movie stays close to the book, unlike most others. It is enjoyable, funny, and has a good plot. I suggest you take the whole family, if you can find room at a theatre, and watch this movie.
The Haunted Mansion By: Renee Snowden 12-14-03 The Haunted Mansion was a really good movie. As always, Eddie Murphy is hilarious. That man can act in anything. The movie is about a couple, with two children, who had intended on going to a family outing when they get sidetracked doing some business. They are real estaters. They end up at a haunted mansion were they are stuck, until they break the curse. The movie is extremely funny, and I suggest that you all go and see it. I give the movie four stars out of five.
The Cat In The Hat By: Renee Snowden 12-14-03 The Cat In The Hat was an ok movie. If I didn’t have a four year old, I probably wouldn’t have watched it though. I feel that it’s more of a children’s movie of course. The movie had funny parts, but I don’t think that many adults would like it. My husband and I agree that if you have children 12 years old and under, they will probably like it.
Cold Creek Mountain By: Renee Snowden 1-19-04 My husband and I watched this movie together. Honesty, I didn’t think that I would like it. However, I loved it. It was a very good movie. It kept me waiting to see what would happen next. Nicole Kidman and Renee Zellweger played well together. Zellweger played a character that I didn’t imagine she could play, however, she really did do a good job. The movie is about the civil wars last days in which a soilder struggles to find his way back to a woman (Kidman) whom he fell in love with before the war. She constantly sends him letters but never receives a response. She has no idea where he is or if he is alive, but she never gives up hope that he will come back to her.
Mona Lisa Smile By: Renee Snowden 1-19-04 Being a Julia Roberts fan, I could not pass up seeing this movie. It also stars Julia Stiles and Kirsten Dunst. It was a really good movie. Roberts played the role of a teacher who came to a school to teach. When she got there everyone seemed to be set in their ways of marriage and the woman taking care of the home and having babies. Roberts taught in a way that got through to the students that it didn’t have to be that way. I don’t want to give the entire movie away because it’s really good. I encourage you all to see it.
TORQUE: by Movie Wiz 1-19-04 From the very beginning this movie had action, a good plot line, and actors who pulled off their characters to a tee. Jamie Pressley and Ice Cube played perfect roles. with the exception of one computer generated chase through a busy Los Angeles, the movie was great. The chase seen was to far fetched and not realistic whatso ever. I reccommend you see this one.
Chasing Liberty By: Renee Snowden 2-4-04 Chasing Liberty was an ok movie. I would give it a 3 out of 5 stars. Mandy Moore plays the character of a president’s daughter who is desperate for freedom. She gets on the wrong train and goes to Venice. Moore meets a mysterious guy who she falls in love with. As I said this is an ok movie, much better than her last. However, A Walk To Remember, has been her best movie in my opinion.
The Butterfly Effect By: Renee Snowden 2-13-04 I thought this was a really good movie. It really keeps you waiting to see what will happen next. It does get a bit confusing if you don’t pay attention because it goes back in forth in time. Ashton Kutcher plays the character of a boy who grows up with a troubled background. Somewhere along the way, he manages to figure out a way to travel through time. This is the best movie that Kutcher has been in.
50 First Dates By: Renee Snowden 2-20-04 This movie was absolutely hilarious. I really enjoyed seeing this movie. Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore were great together. The movie was about a lady (Barrymore) who was in an accident and had lost her short term memory. She can’t remember anything from day to day. Sandler comes along and the two meet. They eventually fall in love, however, the process of it happening is funny and sometimes sad. This movie is a must see. I give the movie four out of five stars.
Movie Review- by Tinkerbell 50 First Dates 2-20-04 Starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. Adam Sandler falls in love with Drew Barrymore who suffers from short term emory loss. Everynight she forgets what happened that day which makes it hard for Adam Sandler to form a relationship with her. This is a great movie to see for everyone. It has a perfect combination of slapstick comedy to appeal to the men and romance to appeal to the women. 3 stars
Welcome to Mooseport By: Renee Snowden 3-1-04 I felt this was a good movie. The movie is about a former President who is ready to set back and retire when he gets convinced to run for Mayor of a small town in Mooseport. His opponent, Handy, is an honest man who also lives in Mooseport. The adventure starts when the President asks out Handy’s girlfriend. At first he doesn’t realize that it is his girlfriend but after he learns he keeps on seeing her anyway. Handy’s girlfriend accepts because she has given up hope of Handy asking her to marry her. The movie is funny. I would give it 3 ½ stars.
Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen By: Renee Snowden 3-5-04 Lindsay Lohan plays a teenage girl who moves to a new place. She goes to a new school and tries her best to become popular. She competes against another girl who is obviously used to being the so called popular girl. Lohan’s character finally realizes that it is ok to be yourself and you don’t have to pretend to be someone that your not. Considering this movie is mainly for teenagers, I normally like them. I give this movie two stars. I felt like it was trying to be too much like Lizzie McGuire.
Cheaper By The Dozen By: Renee Snowden 3-15-04 Cheaper By The Dozen was a good movie. Steve Martin, Hillary Duff, Bonnie, Hunt, are all familiar actors who play a part in this movie. The movie is about a couple with twelve children who decide to move to the city where Martin’s character gets to coach a football team. Very shortly after arriving, Hunt’s character gets called away for a book tour and that means Martin is there alone taking care of a dozen kids and coaching a football team. I thought this movie was a very good family movie. I’d give it 3 ½ stars.
Scooby Doo 2 By: Renee Snowden 4-13-04 The Mystery Inc crew must try and reveal the villain in this sequel to Scooby Doo. This was a funny movie, however, I think I like the first one better. The original characters from the first are still in this movie. Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne, Freddie Prinz Jr. as Fred, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy, Linda Cardellini as Velma, and Neil Fanning as Scooby Doo. In the movie Velma actually proves that she is capable of having feelings for a man and Fred and Daphne seem to have finally realized they care for each other.
Jersey Girl By: Renee Snowden 4-23-04 I thought this movie was good. Ben Affleck plays the role of a father. The movie starts out as he looses his wife after childbirth. He does not deal with reality and eventually looses his job. He moves in with his father who finally gets him to realize reality and that the child is his and that e needs to be a father. I would give the movie three stars.
Walking Tall by Movie Wiz 4-22-04 Other the name of the movie, and The Rock, using a 2X4, nothing else is close to the original. This movie does have a lot of action and a good storyline. I would reccommend going and seeing this movie.

Mean Girls By: Renee Snowden 5-20-04 I was somewhat surprised by this movie. It was better than I expected. It is really a chick flick. The movie is about a girl, Lindsay Lohan. Lohan’s character has just moved from Africa as she begins attending a public school for the first time ever. She has always been homeschooled, so she has lots to learn. She meets a group of snotty girls who end up teaching her that it’s not all about being popular. Lohan’s character finally learns to just be yourself. I liked this movie and thought Lohan really fit the part. I would give the movie three stars.
Shrek 2 By: Renee Snowden 6-1-04 I must say, to be a sequel this movie was really good. This movie literally continues from the first one. Shrek and Fiona have returned from their honeymoon when Fiona gets a summons to return to her home. Her parents, especially her father, are shocked to see whom she has married. With a little help from the fairy God Mother, her father tries to get Fiona to choose Charming. However, he finally learns that you cannot interfere with true love. Eddie Murphy returns as the voice of the donkey. As always Murphy is hilarious. I’d give this movie 4 and a half stars.
Raising Helen By: Renee Snowden 6-7-04 Kate Hudson stars in this movie. Hudson’s character becomes guardian of three children after her aunt and uncles pass away. At first Hudson has a hard time dealing with being a mother and working. It seems no one wants an employee who is a mother. Luckily, it all works out in the end. As Hudson and the three children bond. I’d give this movie three stars.
13 Going On Thirty By: Renee Snowden 6-7-04 This movie was one of those movies that is ok to pass the time away, if that makes sense. Jennifer Garner plays a girl who is having her thirteenth birthday party and wishes that she could be thirty. The next morning her wish comes true. After living a week as thrity, she realizes that she really doesn’t have everything that she wanted. She makes a wish to return to thirteen so she can live out her life as she wants it to happen. I would give this movie 2 ½ out of five stars.
| Taxi By: Renee Snowden 10-17-04
Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon star in this movie in which the two pair up and catch some bank robbers. Fallon’s character loses his job at the police station and currently has no drivers license. He is determined to catch the bank robbers to prove he is capable of doing his job. He runs into Latifah, who has a very unusual taxi. Together they end up catching the robbers. I’d give this movie 3 stars. The Forgotten By: Renee Snowden Julianna Moore plays in this thriller where she can’t remember what happened to her child. She knows that she had one, but everyone around her says that he doesn’t exist, even her husband. Finally Moore finds someone else who also had a child and the two work together to find out what really happen. This is a great movie. I’d give it 4 ½ stars. Cellular By: Renee Snowden 10-8-04 Cellular was a good movie. Kim Basinger, Chris Evans, Eric Christian Olsen were among some who stared in this movie. It was one of the best thrillers that I have watched for a while. The movie keeps you waiting to see what will happen next. A brief description without ruining the movie until you see it for yourself. A lady gets captured and manages to dial a cell phone and a young man answers. The lady is finally able to convince him that she really is in danger, so he takes the phone to the police. Unbeknownst to him and the police chief, the police are actually in on the kidnapping. I’d give this movie 4 stars. Ella Enchanted By: Renee Snowden 7-12-04 Anne Hathaway stars in this movie as Ella. The main reason that I wanted to see this movie is because I thought it was yet another version of Cinderella. I love those kinds of movies because it was my favorite as a child. Anyway, this movie was ok. Ella was born in the family and her aunt was a fairy gave her a gift, but not just any gift. It was a gift of obedience. This meant that she had to do what she was told. So throughout her life she was always obedient then the wrong people found out about this gift and tried to use it against her, luckily the spell was broken and she lived happily ever after with the prince. Just like a true fairy tale. I’d give this movie, 3 out of 5 stars. The Notebook By: Renee Snowden 7-12-04 I’m not sure how to start with this movie. It was absolutely wonderful. I loved it. I will definitely be buying this when it comes out. There is no doubt that you all should go see it. However, my husband is convinced that it is a true chick flick. Joan Allen, Kevin Connolly, and James Garner are among others who star in this movie. The movie is about a young couple that fall in love, but are from different sides of town. The couple ultimately gets separated but after fourteen years they find their way back to one another. The best part of this movie is that the man is actually reading this from his notebook/journal to his wife after they have grown old and are in the nursing home. His wife has got altimers and cannot remember, but her husband sticks by her and reads the book to her and at the end she remembers her. I don’t want to tell you the entire movie because I really don’t want to ruin it for you if you decide to go see it. I will tell you that you probably will want to take tissues with you. I cried the last half hour or more of this movie. This is the best movie that I have seen and really enjoyed since “Erin Brockovich.” I will gladly give this movie 5 out of 5 stars. It is wonderful. The Terminal By: Renee Snowden 6-24-04 This movie was pretty good. Tom Hanks played a character whose passport from a country cannot be found. He ends up living in the terminal for a while. Hanks did a wonderful job in this character. Catherine-Zeta Jones was also in this movie. Her character was also well played. I’d give the movie 3 stars. The Stepford Wives By: Renee Snowden 6-22-04 Nicole Kidman plays in this movie. She is a successful wife who gets fired from her job and her and her husband move into a suburb called Stepford. All the wives in this town seem to be just perfect and do everything right. The truth finally comes out that they are just robots. I didn’t really like the movie all that well. It was a bit, disappointing from the previews. I’d give the movie 2 ½ stars. I will say that Bette Midler is the only reason I kept watching. |
Garfield The Movie By: Renee Snowden 6-22-04 This movie was wonderful. I loved it. I’d suggest you all to go see it. Bill Murray plays the voice of Garfield, which he does great. The movie is based on when they first get the dog Odie. At first Garfield is totally upset by this and later begins to like him. When Odie gets kidnapped, Garfield does his part in helping rescue him. I’d give this movie 4 ½ stars.
