Eight sought in Martin Roundup  12-5-05
A mini-roundup in Martin County Wednesday, November 30, resulted in the arrest of five people on drug-related charges.
Warrants for eight individuals were obtained following an undercover investigation by Operation UNITE, noted Lee Weddington, Big Sandy Task Force manager.
“Most of those we arrested were involved in selling Lorcect, Xanax, Valium or marijuana,” Weddington said.
UNITE detectives, assisted by Martin County Sheriff Garmon Preese and his deputies, began the roundup about 8 a.m. Suspects were brought back to the Martin County Courthouse for processing before being transported to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Johnson County.
Those arrested Wednesday were:

• Herman J. Endicott, age 35, Route 40, Inez, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and trafficking in Legend drugs.

• Danny J. Harris, age 29, Left Fork of Calf Creek, Inez, trafficking in marijuana less than 8 ounces, conspiracy to trafficking in a controlled substance, and endangering the welfare of a minor.

• Jennifer D. Harris, age 24, Left Fork of Calf Creek, Inez, trafficking in marijuana less than 8 ounces, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, and endangering the welfare of a minor.

• John Waller, age 44, Route 40, Tomahawk, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

• Mary Luster, age 31, Sweetwater Branch, Beauty, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
