Weekly Police Report for August 25-31 2003  
Arrests
Eric Hollon of Campton, KY for expired tags, exp, receipt, and no insurance.
Arresting officer was Shawn Howard at Lakeside Drive on 8-27-03. Also officer Claude Barrett issued a citation for receiving stolen property on Mr. Hollon on same date.
Sharon Campbell of Jackson for wanton endangerment 2nd and terroristic threatening.
Arresting officer was Brain Haddix at Sewell Street on 8-26-03.
Cheryl Boggs of Jackson for wanton endangerment 2nd (warrant) served by Officer Jeff Noble.
Madro Neace of Lostcreek for P.I. By officer John Hollan at Citgo on 8-31-03

Unit one: Michael Haddix of Mt. Vernon, Ky. Driving a 2004 Honda Rebel 250 MTR cycle
Unit two: William Lively of Guage, Ky. Driving a 1989 ford F 150
Remarks:
Operator of unit one advised a car in front of him hit its brakes when he tried to avoid collision. He lost control crossed center line and hit unit 2. operator of unit 2 came across yellow line and hit his vehicle operator of unit 2 also advised that he could not avoid unit 1 hitting his vehicle. Remarks:  Unit 2 backed from parked position and proceeded through lane. Unit 1 backed from parked position and hit unit 2 in drivers side behind door.

Unit 1: Joshua Campbell of Jackson, 2003 Chevy PK
Unit 2: Adam Shrout of Wallingford, KY. 1998 Peterbilt
REMARKS: Operator of Unit 2 was making turn onto Ky 15 from North Point Avenue. Operator of Unit 1 drove onto the right side of Unit 2 onto traffic medium and struck Unit 2 on the fuel tank. Operator of Unit 1 stated he drove to stop sign and stopped and Unit 2 attempted to pass and struck his vehicle.

11-29-03 Ky. Hwy 15 South 20:16pm Officer Elvis Noble
Unit 1: Pearl Banks of Jackson, 1996 Ford Mustang
REMARKS: Unit 1 was traveling south on 15 at a high rate of speed and lost control, slid into a ditch, and knocked down a traffic light warning sign, then struck an embankment. Unit 1 then went back onto roadway coming to rest on centerline of Ky 15.

ARRESTS:

ACCIDENTS:
1) KY Hwy 15 and KY 3231 at 15:25 on 12-16-03 Officer Jeff Noble
    Unit 1: Kevin Haddix of Vancleve in a '92 Chevy Beretta
    Unit 2: Jason Henson of Jackson in a '97 Chevy S-10

REMARKS: Unit 2 was stopped for the traffic light when the operator of unit 1 stated he looked off and struck unit 2 in the rear.


2)  KY Hwy 15 at 13:40 on 12-16-03 Officer John Marshall
     Unit 1:  Billy Couch of Hazard in a 99 Ford Taurus
     Unit 2: Benjiman Crase of Booneville in a '95 Ford Ranger

REMARKS: Driver of unit 1 stated that he was pulling into Rite-Aid and could not see anything going south in the turning lane because of a tractor trailer. Driver of unit 2 stated that unit 1 pulled in front of him causing the collision.  Witnesses advised that one unit 1 pulled in front of unit 2.
