Pearlie Spencer age 88 of Ossian, Indiana Formerly of Breathitt County passed away Thursday May 16, 2002 in Indiana of a long illness. She was a housewife. She was the wife of the late Carl Spencer. Her parents were the late Isaac B. and Tishie Smith. 3 daughters survived: Effie Spencer Richey of Ossian, IN. Thelma Wiegmann of Roanoke, IN. and Tishie Storms of Rockwood TN. 4 Sons: Ray Spencer of Charlotte, NC.  Odell Spencer of Angola, IN. Hershel Spencer of Columbia City IN. and Ralph Spencer of Wolf Lake, IN. 27 Grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren also survive her.
Date and time of funeral for Pearlie Spencer will be Monday May 20 at 11am at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Elzie Spencer officiating. Samuel Terry, Jr. of Georgetown Ky age 69 passed away Saturday May 11, 2002 in Beattyville Ky of a sudden heart ailment. He was retired from Georgetown College. His parents are Snowden and Millie Terry Gross. Beside his parents two daughters Lillie Terry and Mildred Terry both of Georgetown Ky survive him. One son Larry Terry of Jackson, Ky. Two sisters Mae Fights of Lee County and Maxine Howard of Jackson, Ky. Three bothers William Kennard Terry and George Terry, both of Cincinnati Ohio and Wilson Terry of Booneville Ky. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral; Services for Samuel Terry, Jr will be conducted Tuesday May 14, 2002 at 10am at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Hicks officiating. Burial will be at the Couch Cemetery at Blane Branch in Beattyville Ky with the Watts Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Friends may call anytime at Watts Funeral Home. He is survived by three sons John Marvin Fugate, Donald Ray Fugate, and Gary Lynn Fugate all of Middletown Ohio. Two daughters Daisey Mae Roberts of Lerose Ky and Margaret Helen McCoy of Middletown Ohio. One stepdaughter Cora White of Jackson, Ky. IRVINE - Leonard Collins, 61, of Irvine, KY, formerly of Beattyville, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2004, at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY.

He was born July 24, 1942, in Breathitt County, KY, to the late Jerry and Ida (Combs) Collins. He was a self employed construction worker and a member of the Ravenna Church of God.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda (Slone) Collins; 4 sons, Leonard (& Henrietta) Collins of Irvine, KY, Michael (& Alice) Collins of Richmond, KY. Paul (& Becky) Collins and Christopher Shane (& Denise) Collins both of Beattyville, KY; and 6 Grandchildren. Eric, Nickia, Jamie, Christopher, Kristen, and Katelyn. Also surviving is 1 brother James Collins of Beattyville, KY; 1 sister, Geneva Collins of Boone County. KY; and a host of friends and relatives.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers. Alex, John, Elihue, and Doug Collins.

Funeral service will be Friday, January 23,2004, at 1:00 P.M._at the Booneville Funeral Home,
with the Rev. Lindsey Cornett and Rev. Paul McCullough officiating Visitation will be Thursday

He was born January 25th, 1930, in Breathitt County, Ky. to the late Green and Murphy (Riley) Sandlin. He was a self employed mechanic.
Survivors include 2 sons, Roy Eugene Sandlin of IN, and David Sandlin of Hamilton OH, and 2 daughters, Kathy Turner of Tyner KY, Debbie Ganz of Middletown OH, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

He was born February 2, 1929, in Owsley County, Ky to the late William & Emma (McIntosh) Riley. He was a former Construction Worker for the Perry Fiscal Court.
Survivors include 1 son, John Nathan Riley of Booneville, KY; 7 daughters, Betty Jean Bennet of Booneville, Ky. Shirley Spurlock of Manchester, KY. Reva Daniels of Hyden, Ky. Irene Godrey of VA. BOONEVILLE - Tenna Sue (Herald) Weileman, 31, of Lerose, KY, passed away Thursday. January 15, 2004, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born May 27. 1972. in Irvine, KY, to the late Danville and Bobbie Lou (Hounshell) Herald. She was a Family Health Care Advisor for the University of Kentucky, and a member of the Owsley County Saddle Club, Workers of Rural Kentucky, and the Lerose Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, John B. Weileman; 1 brother, Johnny Herald of Clay City, KY; 2 step-sons, Billie and Chad Weileman both of Elwood, IN; 1 step-daughter, Ashley McCoy of Fort Wayne, IN; 1 step-Granddaughter, Jessica Weileman of Elwood, IN; 1 niece, Greenleigh Cheyenne Herald of Clay City. KY; and a host of friends and relatives.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 sister, Laura Herald, and 1 brother, Lech Herald.
Funeral services will be Sunday, January 18, 2004, at 2:00 P.M., at the Booneville Funeral Home, with the Rev. Hank Patton officiating. He was born June 29.1926 in Beattyville, KY, to the late William and Reanie Reece. He was a retired employee of the Lee County Road Dept., and attended the Church of God.

Along with his wife of 57 years. he is survived by 7 daughters; Barbara Reece, Carolyn Gosnell, and Cora Tate, all of Richmond, IN, Mary Frances Reece of Lakeworth, FL, Diana Blanton of Owensboro, KY, Norma Williams and Betty Snowden. both of Beattyville, KY; 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and a host of friends and relatives.
