| Volleyball season kicks off with exciting action 1-21-04 Jackson, Ky. The 2004 Jackson Parks & Recreation Volleyball season got off to a good start Monday Jan. 19th 2004. This years league has 6 teams and nearly 70 players total. | Coed Volleyball comes to an exciting end 3-30-04 Jackson, Ky. This years 2004 volleyball season was very exciting, with Team Explosion taking the league championship with a 17 - 3 record. Team Explosion finished 2nd in the tournament. Team Demolition took 2nd place with a 14 - 6 mark winning the tie breaker with Team Net Toppers also at 14-6. Team Net Toppers finished 1st in tournament. Team Recreators, 9 wins 11 losses, finished 4th in the league with Team Rebels, 3 win 17 losses, finishing 5th. Finishing 6th with a 3 and 17 record was the leagues most motivated bunch, Team Friends. This was truly a great season. |

| Breathitt Unite Coalition Sponsoring Men's Softball Tournament 7-19-04 Jackson, Ky. The Breathitt Unite Coalition is sponsoring a softball tournament for July 31st & August 1st. Here are the details: Entry Fee: $125.00 per team before 1st game Rosters: 15 man roster before 1st game Balls: Gold Dot will be provided Bats: ASA Sanctioned Bats Only. (Exception, NO MIKEN bats allowed) Tournament: Double Elimination (No Refunds) Awards: 1st & 2nd Individual Tee- Shirts |
